Netbook Upgrades

Here at GTT we are sometimes called to trouble shoot or set up networks. Sometimes it makes it easier if we take one of our netbooks with us. All of out current netbooks are the same model. The Asus Eee PC 900HA. As soon as they came in we replaced the original one gygabite ram module with 2 GB chips. Then we replaced the 5400 RPM 160 gig hard drive with 320GB 7200 RPM Western Digital Scorpio Black drives.

The original hard drive came configured with in two partitions. One for the the windows XP home and the other for data.

The new drive had enough room for 4 partitions. XP, Windows 7, Linux, and MAC OSX.
